  • All BLACK TEXT  is info I've either obtained from IRENE's records OR used more than one resource and put it into my own words.  Black Text also may ask for YOUR HELP figuring out a family mystery or ID a photo.
  •
  • PLEASE NOTE:  I have found differences in some of the information EX: Spellings of Names, Different Middle Names or Initials, Birth Dates, Places of Births/Origin, Dates of Marriages and Deaths, ECT.  But I left each one as I found them because you never know which is right and it MIGHT be these differences that help find the answers to other questions!
  • MANNON FAMILY HISTORY in IN RED TYPE. THIS INFO ADDED SEPT. 2008 was PASSED ONTO ME BY Don Severs a descendant of John Hartford Mannon www.donsevers.com

Genealogy is a never ending treasure hunt and in all reality can never be completely finished!

MORE SPECIAL NOTES TO the READER:

  •  PLEASE NOTE: As you browse you may notice that I refer to Col Andrew Myers (and other Ancestors) on this website as "My" Great,Great,Great Grandfather (or MY relatives).  I wrote it this way to help readers (other family members) relate to OUR ancestors by generations.  Naturally he is the Grandfather of our whole Clan.  I don't mean any disrespect to anyone, it's just easier for me to keep track of generations if I explain it this way.
  • Generation Example: I am a sixth generation granddaughter.  My Family Line: 1st) Col Andrew Myers, 2nd) William Perry Myers, 3rd) Mary Ora [Myers] Nelson,  4th) Carl Nelson  5th) his daughter Carolyn [Nelson] Russell,  & 6th) {My generation} Jamie Dawn [Nelson-Russell] Paul,  7th) My kids,  8th) My Cousins Grand Kids*
  • NOTE:  Each family member mentioned in this generation  example had siblings.
  • As I Build this website and lay out our family tree for you, I will try to explain each family branch in more detail throughout the website.
  • I will stop at my Grandpa Carl's generation because none of his siblings are with us any longer.  I may talk about younger generations, but trying to keep our private lives private (and for internet safety) I will not mention any other family by their full names.  With the exception of the above example because I am obviuosly still alive.
  • Also, you'll notice that current photo's are posted on the Family Reunion page with captions ~ BUT no names will be used with the pictures. {Unless I have special permission}
  • I THANK everyone for your cooperation & understanding.
  • GOD BLESS & Please Enjoy!
