INFO ON AGES & HOURS

AGES: *I accept all ages ~ 1 month to 12 yrs! PT/FT ~ Day Time Pre-Schoolers to before and after school age kids. *I also accept children enrolled in both our Districts Pre-K & Head Start Preschool programs. I'll make sure you're little ones get off to school if needed and I'll greet them after Pre-K with Lunch and afternoon play time! As well as snack time for after school bus kids!

HOURS: DaYCaRe Operating Hours are from 5:00 am to 6:30 pm (I am licensed to 11:00 pm IN CASE OF EMERGENCIES ONLY ~ BUT I'm willing to keep kids later than 6:30 pm if your work schedules call for later care, with possible overtime fees added. PLEASE See RATES page for complete details )

Getting to School: Your kids can ride the bus to and from school with my children. I usually do not provide rides, but if your child participates in extra curricular activities (school sports, scouts, after school program, ect) and you have no way to transport them, I can TRY to help you arrange something. *NOTE: Both the Pre-K & Head Start Buses pull up to my front door for pick ups & Drop Offs of Pre-Schoolers.

School Age DROP IN: I occasionally have "Drop-In" openings for SCHOOL OUT days to care for your school aged children, BUT you MUST let me know in advance so I can check my FT kids schedules and have an assistant available if one is needed.

Pre-School DROP IN: Due to many varying schedules I often have day time openings. Depending on how many full time kids I have in attendance I can sometimes accept preschoolers as "Drop Ins".

PLEASE Complete ALL the necessary forms found in both the Manilla & Blue Folders from your enrollment packet AND return them A.S.A.P. (you will receive your packet after your first visit to our Day Care Home)

PLEASE RETURN YOUR MANILLA FOLDER & COMPLETED DAYCARE CONTRACT ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS:

* A completed physical - Which MUST have an official Dr's Signature

* Official ~ UP TO DATE Shot Records

* Lead Screen for pre-schoolers

* A Copy of the Child's Certified Birth Certificate

AND a TB Test for ALL Ages

DCFS Rules state that ALL forms MUST be completed and returned BY THE FIRST DAY OF ATTENDANCE!

ALL Children MUST have a physical, up to date shot records, Lead Screen AND TB Test PRIOR to entering enrollment in our Day Care.

CHILDREN ALREADY ENROLLED IN SCHOOL OR A PRE-SCHOOL PROGRAM DO NOT NEED A "NEW" PHYSICAL ~ YOU MAY OBTAIN COPIES OF THESE FORMS FROM YOUR CHILD'S SCHOOL.
Pre-School children will need up dated health records after EVERY visit to the Dr and a NEW UPDATED physical every TWO years.
Anyone NOT keeping records updated WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $25.00 NON COMPLIANCE FEE or TERMINATION!
NO EXCEPTIONS! You MUST keep your records updated!

YOU CAN DEPEND ON ME! This is not just a hobby to me, this is OUR FAMILY business! I promise that the services that we provide will be GOOD & RELIABLE! I will never cancel out on you at the last minute no matter what the circumstances are! In the event I am ill or not available I have assistants and substitutes who will fill in for me as long as I know your schedule.

SAFETY: Our yard in not fenced in at this time but we hope to have that done some day SOON. Our Furnace room is NOT accessible to children. All poisons, medications and cleaning supplies are kept out of reach of children at all times. Fire extinguishers, smoke alarms AND a carbon monoxide alarm are installed in our home. PLUS ~ We have monthly fire and tornado drills to ensure the safety of everyone in our home.

CARING: Children hold a special place in my heart. I enjoy spending time with kids of all ages. I promise to take good care of your children while they are in my care and to love them as my own. I promise to provide quality play time while meeting their physical and emotional needs.

The goal of my Day Care Home: Is to help children GROW & Develop in POSITIVE ways to meet his or her potential. Guidance and discipline in my home is preventative, not punishing. There is no physical punishment in my home. After discussion about harmful behavior, a Child may be removed from the play/activity group and sat in a time out for a period of one minute per age of the child not exceeding ten minutes. *REPEATED time outs may result in nap time!

Total and complete communication is not only expected, it is necessary to keep everything running smooth at all times. Your child's welfare is very important to me, I promise to use all my God given talents & abilities to provide the very best care possible!
