MY BABYSITTING POLICIES, PROCEDURES & DAY CARE HOME RULES:
(Last Revised December 16, 2011)
THANKS for you're complete cooperation and understanding. MANY of the DaYCaRe
Rules & Policies are common sence but due to past bad expiriences they MUST be stated for clarification.
(You'll find the majority of our Policies & Proceedures explained in detail not only
on this page but also through out this entire website. After enrollment, if you'd like a written copy of all
Policies & Proceedures for you to keep for your own records just ask and I'll be happy to make you a copy. If you decide to enroll your child in our DayCare, a contract involving these Policies & Proceedures
will need to be agreed upon and signed by parents/guardians, so please be sure to read over EVERYTHING. )
MY HOUSE RULES
AND FOREMOST ~ For the safety of all and to keep things
running smoothly, your child will be expected to mind and follow ALL of our house rules at all times while in my care. (Which
most of them do.....no problem!)
Any child caught misbehaving and refusing to mind
and follow our house rules will be sat down in a time out. I absolutely refuse to tolerate a child continually refusing to
cooperate, being rude/disrespectful to myself, any of my helpers, the other children and/or my home.
I reserve the right to refuse future babysitting
services to any family who's child repeatedly disrupts activities, refuses to follow my house rules and is harmful or abusive
to myself, my home, my helpers &/or other children in my care.
Parents/Guardians will be contacted by telephone
and asked to make IMMEDIATE alternative arrangements if their child repeatedly becomes disruptive and continually refuses

BUS STOP & BUS RIDING RULES
Getting to & from School: Your kids can ride the bus to and from school with my son Jeffrey.
I usually do not provide rides, but if your child participates in extra curricular activities (school sports, scouts, after
school program, ect) and you have no way to transport them, I can try to help you arrange something.
Weather permitting the kids always walk to and from
the bus stop (at the end of our lane) each Day. Sometimes I walk with them or they are supervised by Jeffrey when possible
for this short walk. When the weather is nasty transportation to &/or from the bus stop will be provided.
When riding the Bus I ask that
your children PLEASE follow these DaYCaRe rules:
(In addition PLEASE See your child's
Student Handbook for school rules & misconduct on the bus.) PLEASE go over ALL these Bus Stop & Bus Riding Rules with
your child and make sure they understand ALL of them!*
FIRST of all - I feel responsible for your kids from the time they leave my house until they
step off the bus and enter the school! Just because you and I can not see them is no reason for them to misbehave. If they
are behaving badly it not only reflects back on me and my Daycare in a negative light, it also looks bad for you as their
parents. PLEASE make sure your child knows I expect only the VERY best manners from them when riding the Bus REGUARDLESS of how the other students may be acting!
Walking to & from the Bus Stop
1.) Be CAREFUL! Walk straight to the Bus Stop - Daycare!
NO stopping anywhere!
2.) LEAVE THE HORSES ALONE!
3.) In the AM Line up BEHIND the asphalt until the
bus has come to a complete stop!
4.) In the PM Hurry across the Highway! NO STOPPING!
NO CHECKING THE MAIL! NO RUNNING BACK! Get out of the road, away from the traffic and safely into our lane ASAP!
5.) There should be absolutely NO PUSHING, NO SHOVING,
NO TRIPPING, NO MAKING FUN of ANYONE for ANY REASON @ ANY TIME!
While Riding the Bus
1.) PLEASE try to stay SEATED while the bus is still
moving, EVEN if everyone else is standing!
2.) Be kind to each other ~ Use your very best manners
@ all times!
3.) Don't say or do anything to anyone that you wouldn't
want said or done to you!
Riding the bus to and from school is a privilege and can be taken away! IF we have any problems with bus conduct & manners
I will start driving the Daycare kids to and from school each day with an additional charge billed to each parent

SPECIAL HELPER OF THE DAY
Each day I have a different Special Helper. Each Child gets a name magnet put on the side of my
desk/file cabnet in the DaYCaRe as soon as they are enrolled. Whose ever name is posted under the special helper sign
is the helper for the day. They get to be the leader and help fix lunch, snacks ect. Each Child will get to help plan a meal
with their favorite foods.
